NORTH BRADLEY PEACE MEMORIAL TRUST 100 CLUB

The 100 Club is run to provide much needed additional income to help pay for the upkeep of the Hall and Recreation Field.

If you are interested and can afford £12 per year, why not join?

Our main focus for fundraising will be the replacement or refurbishment of the children’s play area.  We also require replacement main entrance doors.

In 2016 we were fundraising for the children’s play area, the potential memorial garden, a possible new heating system, replacement front doors, hall and changing room maintenance plus general maintenance to the hall & recreation ground.

Last financial year (July ’10 – July ’11) the running costs, just to maintain the hall & recreation ground ground, were £10,882.  With profits from events held etc and from hire of the facilities we made a slight loss.  This is separate from grants received for specific projects.

Our successes 2011: –

  1. 1 years free broadband connection from BT’s Community Connections scheme worth iro £150.000
  2. £2,115.00 fr0m the Big lottery’s BRE fund to help pay for a ‘green energy’ survey of the hall
  3. £760.00 from Trowbridge Area Board to help pay for a ‘green energy’ survey of the hall
  4. £48,999.00 fr0m the Big lottery’s ‘Community Spaces’ Fund to entirely pay for a new footpath, adult exercise equipment, extensive landscaping & planting, additional bins & benches & a bespoke, hand carved,  ornamental bench
  5. £3,500.00 as a ‘sustainability’ grant in addition to the above community Spaces grant.  This is to enable us to run several events throughout the next year & to pay equipment that will be used for these events.
  6. £1775.00 from the co-operative community fund for equipment etc for the on-line centre computing classes (online centre no 3421178 is operating as a  separately accounted  sub-committee)
